Sail and Surf
Surf Itineraries are dependent upon storms and, well, surf! At the core of our surf itineraries are the incredible West Coast of Vancouver Island and the beaches surrounding Tofino.
“Tofino is the surfing capital of Canada and boasts 35km/21.74 miles of magnificently surfable beaches. The incomparable setting of ocean roaring in towards the mountains suggests the epic. Tofino life is laid-back, unmindful of tomorrow, and reverent in its elopement with nature.”

Note: Wetsuits, booties, gloves and a hood are essential gear. Water temperatures average 10 degrees C / 50 degrees F.

Possible/Example Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Orcas Island, WA and Sail to Griffin Bay, San Juan Island
Day 2: Sail to Sooke Basin, Vancouver Island
Day 3: Sail to Tofino
Day 4: Surf Tofino/Ucluelet beaches
Day 5: Surf Tofino/Ucluelet beaches
Day 6: Surf Tofino/Ucluelet beaches
Day 7: Surf Tofino/Ucluelet beaches
Day 8: Sail to Port Renfrew
Day 9: Sail to Victoria
Day 10: Sightsee Victoria/Sail to Roche Harbor
Day 11: Return to Orcas Island for departure.

Pricing for Sail and Surf Charters
These charters will be charged per person at a base rate for the full eleven days. An additional per person per day rate will be added if a longer trip is desired. The base rate will include accomodations, meals, and non-alcoholic beverages for the full 11 days. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the natural history and ecology of the areas they travel through. Guests 21 and over are welcome to supply their own alcohol if desired.
Base rate per person: $3,600.00*
Per person per day rate for additional days: $345.00
*Special Pricing for Families, Veterans and Service Members, Students and NSP Members below.
Rates are subject to sales tax.
Family Pricing
We know how tough it can be to afford a trip for adults and kids. Plus, we'd just love to have your kids out on the water with us! With two paying adults, kids 12 and under sail "two for the price of one." If you have three kids... let's talk!
Veterans & Service Members
For active duty, active reserve, retired military and immediate family, we offer a 10% discount for individuals. Or, with a group of four, enjoy 15% off for "filling the boat"! A valid military ID is required for booking.
Students
Spring Break anyone? Get together your best surfing buds and receive a 15% trip discount when a minimum of four climb aboard to head for the coast. Valid Student ID required for each passenger for booking.
National Ski Patrol Members
Fill the boat with boards and NSP friends or immediate family and take 15% off your trip! A valid NSP member ID card is required for booking.
